Can we say, "Massive FOOD COMA!" I feel sooo sleepy right now due to my first attempt at making alfredo sauce =]. It was delicious and my roommates can vouch for that. I think the best part of today was sitting with 2 of them and just talking. We had so much fun and were all missing home terribly. Not specifically like our beds or actual homes but the lifestyle. For instance, how we can go to the grocery store and find a lot of variety in it, or how we don't have to wait until a certain time to talk with people from back home. Oh well right? We all know that it'll be fine and we all love Rome. We just miss things being a little easier when it comes to being able to talk to those that we miss.
I don't have any crazy updates for today. I basically did a lot of homework, eating, and freaking out about my ticket for Venice next week. The self service machine popped out a ticket after saying that it couldn't process my card. My ticket looks like everything went through but that would stink if I found out on that day that I couldn't board. EEK! The other silly thing that I did was pick up a hot pot with my hand. I heard it sizzle. For those of you that watch Arrested Development, I felt like Oscar when he burned his hand on the cornballer. It still stings a bit but I'll survive.
I have a new mattress that has been good to me which I'm thrilled about. I'm not freezing at night, and I don't feel springs on my back when I lay down. I think I'll be paying my new mattress a visit now as my eyes get heavier and heavier. Have a goodnight everyone!
