I just took a shower and as I placed my glasses on my face.. here is what happened...Fail.
I spent all of today doing laundry and trying to study. Unfortunately it'll be rainy all week and I have on site classes that could be anywhere in the city of Rome. This will be a cold week of walking for me and I can't wait for it to pass. I suddenly feel like I should have taken less classes so that I could travel to some place sunny. lol.
Something good that did happen was that I found a cute umbrella for 2.50 Euro. I didn't mess up my laundry. I also got to teach my roommate Caitlin how to cook her first batch of pasta which was a nice highlight of today. It was fun sitting, talking over nutella, and looking at how good her pasta came out.
All of us are just pretty frustrated with our living situation: a clogged sink and smelly bathroom that hasn't been fully fixed since day one but whatever. Hopefully things get better. I must now go and attempt to fix my glasses. Someone bust out the masking tape!! =D
It has been fun reading about your days and, often times, nights. Studying is hard, especially when there is so much to discover, but it balances everything out. I guess I appreciate the good things more when I am studying so hard on most days. Keep up the blogging, I am reading them all and it makes me happy that you get to experience so many small things that only locals usually get to experience which is going to really define your trip.
