It's pretty late and I just got back to my apartment. I decided to go to a friend's potluck tonight and we ended up going out by Trastevere to a bar near by. Everyone and their moms' were out tonight! lol! We found a really chill bar that had plenty of room to hang out and relax. I had my first Mojito ever and it was great. I normally wouldn't order one that late, but the bar wasn't crazy busy here so I didn't feel bad asking for one tonight. I know it's more of a early night drink so the bartenders don't have to spend so much time one my personal Mojito. (Even though they should, I deserve it right?! ) lol
It's kind of nice having the place to myself. In my apartment I cleaned up in the kitchen, bathroom and my room today. Went to practice. Send out some letters while at practice and cooked tonight. Got lost on the way to the potluck. Found my way there on the bus and with the help of a friend. Discovered new parts of Rome that I wanna definitely check out on my own someday, and I also booked hostel rooms for my trip to Florence next weekend.
The night life here is always fun but I think I might invest in a ring. It's the easiest way to ward off italian men. They're very persistent. Ladies, don't get the wrong idea though. Many of them are well mannered. It's the immature one's you should look out for. I realized today that when people become older here, they're a lot more well mannered. The young teens are crazy! lol They always pick on each other and are so roudy. The ones that are young adults show soOo much PDA it's wow... unreal. Either way, I'm sure they'll figure it out one way or another with age.
I also found that I have a greater appreciation for where I live. Not only is it 2 minutes away from the Vatican, but a large majority of the night buses go my stop until 5am. I LOVE that factor. Especially when I'm heading home alone. Life savers I tell yah!
Another note I'd like to put out there is that I bought some stamps. If you've been reading and would love a postcard from Italy people comment and leave your address! I'd be more than happy to send you a postcard from some of my destinations. I have a few places I'll hit up next week, spring break, and especially after school is out. I have 20 days to myself before Hai comes to Europe and I won't mind sending postcards to the US at all.
Hope all is well! Love you readers but I'm off to my bed. =] <3
