Oh happy dayyyyy

You know it's a typical day in Italy when you walk to your apartment and there is a nice black Lamborghini parked right outside. It's pretty nice being so baller I must say. Or at least that's what I think the owner would say but in italian. :)

So it's officially Tuesday and I thought it would be nice and warm like the weekend. Nope. Rome is never going to stay sunny is it? We had such a nice weekend and the next thing you know, it's raining. Not just raining but pouring on and off. I was so sure that I was going to have a hard day and I did but don't worry, there were many pastries for me to just stuff my face with in Rome to keep me warm in the rain. Perfect. This sugar was what would also keep me awake through my classes. I only managed to get a few hours of sleep last night. Call me crazy but for some reason my body wouldn't allow me to sleep. Perhaps too much thinking? Either way, I paid dearly in the morning as I woke up to the cold.

On the brighter side... I ACED my marketing and italian midterm ! yay! I love unexpected surprises! I'm pretty exhausted as of right now but instead of going home to take a nap, I decided to stay in school and wait for practice. It's rainy and cold. I'd rather not get sick from this weather before my trip on Friday. Which leads to another piece of awesome news... I'm going to Florence, but not just GOING but I'm DRIVING with 3 others to Florence. That means we get to drive through other parts of Tuscany together too! oh happy day. Once more, I LOVE SURPRISES! You bet your bottom that I'll be bringing my camera this weekend. :D If anyone has any recommendations in Florence please feel free to let me know!

As for the rest of the night we'll see how that goes. I did get to go to this art gallery for photography which was pretty cool. There really is so much to do in this city. I only wish it wasn't so cold and rainy so often so that I could go out and explore. It'll get warmer though soon enough. For now, tea and coffee. I really should have brought heat packs with me here haha.
