It's midterm week and I'm so over studying and reading. I spent my day working on what is called, "The Marketing Game" for class... it's not as fun as regular games are. I read for my Art History Class, did some italian homework, and edited photos for class. Here are a few that I'm sure you'll recognize:
It was kind of hard to edit some of these because I didn't have the right settings on but hopefully I'll learn next time to take pictures in RAW settings.
Today wasn't all that exciting but I did do a lot of research in regards to more trips to come. I must say, it's not too hard to find good deals as long as you do them at a decent time. I basically looked up trips to 7 destinations today and maybe booking them very soon. 6 are for the trip I'll be taking with Hai! yay! One destination is a surprise and I hope that turns out well. Wish me luck! In italian it's "In Bocca al Lupo" which translates to " In the mouth of the wolf". I know it doesn't sound very lucky to be in the mouth of a wolf, but I guess in Italy it is!
It did rain for a little bit as I was on my way to the grocery store. I really wanted to make lasagna and I found out that they didn't have any of the wider lasagna noodles. I go for pasta and it's still not there lol! Either way, I actually felt like a salad. Little did I know it would be MASSIVE! It was the size of my head and it had spinach, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, oranges, salami, asiago cheese, and balsamic vinegar. It was so much that my jaw was getting sore but it sure was good! And then I was craving toast with Jam so I made that too. Oh and a bit of Gelato. I bought a box of it just in case of emergencies lol! Yes, my name is Jen and I get really hungry sometimes.
I'm feeling a bit better as far as missing everyone goes. I'm telling you, the gelato does wonders when you're homesick! I wish it would do wonders for my wisdom teeth that are starting to be a bit of a nuisance. As far as updates on where I'll be this weekend.. I have no idea yet. Next weekend I'll be in Florence and then I have Spring Break the week after. Anyone have any suggestions of places I have to see in Europe? I'm so up for any ideas!
